Frequently Asked Questions
The standard plant concept has taken away one
of our clients' major concerns. That is, waiting until they know
exactly what gas the cryogenic plant needs to be designed for.
Because of the range of gas conditions our plants can handle, our
clients only need to decide on a volume and an estimate of GPM (gallons
per Mscf). Recenly, we had
six cryogenic plants in our yard built on speculation by one of our
clients, with no home. Within a few months they were all used. A 40
MMscfd plant went to the Texas panhandle. Two 60 MMscfd plants
went to west Texas. Two 120 MMscfd plants with the refrigeration system
option added, are being used in the Marcellus shale play operating in
the rejection mode - since there is no ethane market, they are
recovering maximum propane. And finally a 200 MMscfd cryogenic
plant was installed in Oklahoma. Since a cryogenic plant is generally a
long lead time delivery item, this has greatly reduced overall project
time for our clients.
How do we get started?
Contact us with your gas volume and estimate of GPM (gallons per Mscf). With this basic information we can begin to estimate the size of the system needed.
Are your plants flexible?
Yes, they are able to be sized and operated from 2 GPM to 9 GPM. Contact us to learn more.
Can I add more modules?
Yes, you can depending on the richness of the gas and the recoveries required. Contact us to review your requirements.
What makes you the experts?
By the end of 2011, we will have completed
70 plants capable of processing 9 Bscfd over
the past 7 years. Many of these are cryogenic gas processing plants
located in the most active shale plays.
